TENANCY
PROBLEMS -ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION(ADR) |
Necessary legal support to redress the disputes on
tenancy rights will be extended. Service of the
field workers will be utilized to reach out the
deserving classes facing such problems. Efforts will
be made for amicable solutions.

PREPARATION OF LEGAL LITERATURE AND LEGAL
NOTES
AND PAMPHLETS |
This
is aimed at updating legal knowledge on topics with
specific reference to Human Rights, Rights of women
and children, etc.

C. |
LEGAL AID/LEGAL CLINIC |
A
panel of competent Lawyers will provide Legal Aid
and Counseling Services to resolve disputes out of
Court and ensure instant justice to the litigant at
its office on all working days.
Matters not settled in negotiations will be taken up
in appropriate legal fora engaging counsels for the
services of deserving groups.

PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATIONS |
Matters of public importance effecting large group
of peoples belong to downtrodden classes should be
given due importance and matters affecting them have
to be taken by way of Public Interest Litigation in
appropriate fora.

LEGAL AWARENESS PROGRAMME |
Total
Legal literacy would be the motivating force behind
each programme designed for spreading Legal
Awareness. Legal literacy camps, Para legal training
courses, seminars on topics of legal importance and
legal workshops are, few of the items which would be
organized to bring out legal awareness in people.
Monitoring, Evaluation And Review
All
projects undertaken by 'Niyama Sameeksha' in
collaboration with U.P .A.D. Will be monitored,
evaluated and reviewed periodically at two stages.
At the first stage by the Executive Committee of the
ALERT and Advisory members of 'Niyama Sameeksha'. At
the second stage by involving the Advisory Board of
'Niyama Sameeksha', Mayor, Secretary and the Project
Director.
Sustainability
The
Project undertaken by the 'Niyama Sameeksha' will be
supported and financed by institutions with similar
objectives. The beneficiary will get the service,
free of cost.
Fund
Management
A
committee consisting of the Chairman of ALERT,
Hony.Secretary of ALERT, and a Member nominated by
the Advisory Board of 'Niyama Sameeksha'.
Environmental programs
The
latest performance is the discussion organized on
the Environment day, 2002 under the government
auspices of the Kerala State Legal Services
Authority and Niyama Sameeksha attended by Justice
K. S. Radhakrishnan, Justice K.A. Gaffoor where
Justice K Sukumaran gave a lecture on the
significance of Environmental Problems in the
current times.
Arrangement were made for presentation in music and
dance on the importance of such programmes.
The Kerala Fine Arts Society and other cultural
organizations are participating in developing this
branch of activities connected with cultural and
artistic activities.
