LEGAL LITERACY MAGAZINE


Niyama Sameeksha Legal Magazine is a part of Niyama Sameeksha Trust, an organization registered under Societies Registration Act. 

To carryout the below mentioned objectives and fulfill the dream of making the State of Kerala, the first Legally Literate State in India, Niyama Sameeksha Trust started publishing a Legal Magazine under the caption 'Niyama Sameeksha', in vernacular language (Malayalam). 

The publication aims not only for the promotion of legal understanding but also to update the legal knowledge of the public keeping with pace of legal advancement.

Its main objectives include the following:

1. To conduct Legal workshops in the Schools, Colleges, and other Educational Institutions or as arranged by Governmental or non- Governmental organisations. 

2. To extend legal aid and advice to socially and economically weaker sections of the society. 

3. To bring the changing horizon of law to the notice of the people in all walks of life through publications, modern sophisticated technologies and all such facilities like computer, Internet and similar arrangements. 

4. To conduct Legal Literacy programmes with particular attention to urban areas and among weaker sections. 

5. To publish judicial decisions and their summaries and to give annotations and comments thereon so as to enable the ordinary people to understand the existing legal provisions and their implications and potentials of developments. 

6. To promote studies in the science of jurisprudence and of comparative laws. 

7. To further the diffusion of knowledge of laws of various countries, and promote legal education on an international plane. 

8. To work for the preservation of the Rule of Law and the Fundamental Rights of the citizens of India.
